Scott Kuckler had been a successful full time photographer for 10 years living in Europe shooting for film studios and prominent magazines when he had an epiphany that changed the course of his life.
In many ways Scott had been living a dream life as a photographer. But at one particular photoshoot he saw how his industry was impacting people in a negative way. His artistic and moral response was clear and uncomplicated. This was not how he wanted people to see people, and it was not how he wanted them to see themselves. From there his photography and artistic intentions went towards their highest calling, to celebrate people, beauty, and truth as an act of collaboration and discovery.
When the seemingly superficial things in life are revealed as meaningless, we are left with a profound question... what's really here and what really matters?
