Digital Magazine Subscription Terms of Agreement

By purchasing a subscription to Model Society Magazine, you agree to the following terms:

1.  Digital-Only Product: To keep our carbon footprint low and our reach high, this is a 100% digital subscription. Please note: No physical copies will be mailed to you.
2. 14-Day Free Trial & Billing: Your paid annual subscription begins with a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel within this 14-day window. The charge will appear on statements as "Model Society" (or similar). Please recognize this charge to avoid accidental disputes.

• Reminders: We’ll send you an email the day before your free trial ends. We recommend setting a reminder on your calendar or phone to avoid any unwanted charges.
• Auto-Renewal: After the 14-day trial ends, your payment method will automatically be charged for the annual subscription rate.
• Recurring Billing: This subscription automatically renews annually. You will be billed once per year on your renewal date unless you cancel before that date.

3. Cancellation & Refunds: We hate hard-to-cancel subscriptions, so we made it easy for you to cancel anytime.

• Cancel Anytime: You can cancel at any time before billing or renewal in your Library User Settings or by emailing [email protected].
• During the Trial: Cancel within the first 14 days, and you will never be charged.
• After the Trial (Refund Policy): Since digital goods cannot be "returned" once accessed, we do not offer refunds on annual fees once the charge has processed. However, you will retain full access to your library until the end of your billing cycle.

4. Accessing Your Content. Subscribers can access issues at any time via the Library at modelsociety.academy.

• The Service: As a subscriber, you have 24/7 access to view issues in the Model Society Academy Library.
• The Asset: We encourage you to DOWNLOAD the PDF files to your personal device.
• If You Cancel: You will lose access to the online Library interface when your subscription expires. However, any PDF files you downloaded to your computer are yours to keep forever.

5. Copyright & Usage: All content provided through this subscription is for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, or share the product or its contents in any form without express written permission from Model Society.

Model Citizen Subscription Terms of Agreement

Welcome to Model Society. By becoming a Model Citizen, you are directly supporting the creation of fine art. To ensure everything runs smoothly for both you and our team, please read the following terms carefully.

1. What You Are Getting (Digital Access): This is a 100% digital subscription. You will receive immediate access to our online Library, Academy content, and digital publications. Please note that no physical products will be shipped to you as part of this specific membership.
2. Monthly Billing

• Simple Auto-Renewal: To provide uninterrupted access, your subscription automatically renews every month.
• The Schedule: You will be billed at the monthly rate on the same calendar day each month (e.g., if you sign up on the 10th, you will be billed on the 10th).
• Statement Name: Charges will appear on your bank statement as "MODEL SOCIETY" (or similar).

3. Cancellation & Refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time. You should stay because you want to, not because you are trapped.

• Cancel Anytime: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your User Settings or by contacting support: [email protected]
• How it Works: If you cancel, your access remains active until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again.
• No Partial Refunds: Because this service grants immediate access to our full digital library, we do not offer refunds for partial months once a charge has been processed. After you cancel, you will continue to receive any new digital content until your final billing period has ended.

4. Your Library & Downloads

• The Library: You have 24/7 access to view content in the Model Society Academy Library while your subscription is active.
• Yours to Keep: We encourage you to download your content to your personal device.
• If You Leave: If your subscription expires, you will lose access to the online Library interface. However, any files you downloaded to your computer are yours to keep forever.

5. Copyright & Usage: (respecting the art) All content provided through this subscription is for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, or share the product or its contents in any form without express written permission from Model Society.
6. Technical Reliability: We aim for 100% uptime, but we cannot control the entire internet. Model Society is not responsible for interruptions caused by your personal device, internet connection, or widespread third-party service outages.

By purchasing this digital product from Model Society, you agree to the following terms:

1. Digital-Only Product This is a 100% digital product. No physical items will be shipped to you.
2. One-Time Billing

• Single Charge: You will be charged a one-time fee at the time of purchase.
• No Recurring Fees: This is not a subscription. Your payment method will not be charged again for this specific product.

3. Refund Policy (7 Days) We offer a 7-day refund window for this product.

• Requesting a Refund: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the transaction date.
• Revocation of Access: If a refund is issued, your access to the digital content will be revoked.

Education and Training Resources

Academy Student and Tutorial Agreement: By enrolling in a Model Society Academy course, you are investing in your craft. Here are the terms of your enrollment:

1. The Product (Nature of Content) You are purchasing access to the specific digital education content described on the product's sales page. Depending on the course selected, your purchase includes:

• Streaming Video: All video lessons are available for streaming only via the Academy Library. To protect intellectual property, video content cannot be downloaded.
• Downloadable Assets: If your course includes supplementary resources (such as PDF guides, reference images, or presets), you can download and keep them.
• No Physical Items: This is a 100% digital transaction. No physical materials will be shipped.

2. One-Time Billing

• Single Charge: You will be charged a one-time fee at the time of purchase.
• No Recurring Fees: This is not a subscription. Your payment method will not be charged again for this specific product.

3. Refund Policy (30-Day Guarantee) We want you to feel confident in your education.

• The Window: If you feel this course isn't the right fit, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase date by emailing: [email protected]
• Revocation: If a refund is issued, access to the course content will be revoked.

4. Accessing Your Course

• Login: You can access your purchased content immediately via the Library at: https://www.modelsociety.academy/login
• Connectivity: Video playback requires an active internet connection. Model Society is not responsible for playback issues related to your personal internet connection speed or bandwidth.

5. Copyright & Creative License

• Course Content: The videos, text, and instructional design are the intellectual property of Model Society and/or the content creators. You may not record, reproduce, redistribute, or resell the lessons.
• License for Tools: If your course includes downloadable creative tools (such as Photoshop Actions, Presets, or Textures), you are granted a license to use these tools to create your own commercial or personal artwork. However, you may not repackage, resell, or redistribute the source files themselves.

6. Limitation of Liability Model Society makes no guarantees regarding your specific artistic results or career outcomes. We are not responsible for the inability to access the library due to widespread third-party service outages.

Physical Product Terms of Agreement (US Only)

1. Shipping Policy (United States Only)

• Domestic Focus: To ensure the highest quality of service and the fastest delivery times, we currently ship physical goods only to addresses within the United States.
• International Customers: We do not ship to Canada, Europe, or other international destinations directly from this store.
• For European Orders: Please visit our partner at [Link] to purchase the book with local shipping rates.
• Delivery Timeline: Please allow 2–3 weeks for your order to arrive via USPS Media Mail or Ground Advantage.
• Batch Processing: We are a small, dedicated team. We process and ship orders in weekly batches. We appreciate your patience.

2. Return & Refund Policy (30 Days) We offer a 30-day refund window for physical items, calculated from your date of delivery.

• Condition: The item must be returned in new, unread condition (no bent corners, cracked spines, or scratches).
• Return Shipping: You are responsible for the shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
• Restocking Fee: Returns that arrive damaged due to poor packaging may be subject to a restocking fee or denied.

3. Damaged or Defective Items If your book arrives damaged, please contact [email protected] within 48 hours of receipt.

• Photos Required: Please include photos of the damage and the shipping box so we can file a claim with the carrier.
• Resolution: We will arrange to send you a replacement copy at no additional cost.

4. Limitation of Liability Model Society is not responsible for shipping delays caused by the carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS) once the package has left our possession, nor for packages stolen after confirmed delivery.
