1. Log in at https://modelsociety.academy (not ModelSociety.com, that's our community platform). 

2. Click the blue open button next to "The Nature of Human Beauty Digital Collection". 

3. Here you'll see a page for both the book and the Collector's Companion. Click on whichever you'd like to access. 

4. On this page you'll see a white Downloads box either on the right side of the page or at the bottom of the page (if you're using a mobile device). In this box you'll see a blue link. Click on the blue link to download the PDF. This will download directly to your device, usually to a downloads folder.

The Mission vs. The Reality

Model Society is a sanctuary for figurative fine art. Our mission is to explore the human form with reverence.

We recognize that "Art" is subjective. We understand that artistic merit exists across a spectrum and that high-quality, beautifully executed imagery can appear in genres such as erotica and adult content. We are not here to judge or debate the artistic value of those genres.

However, the internet's financial and legal infrastructure does not judge images by "artistic merit." It judges them based on classification.

The "Adult" Classification Trap. The internet infrastructure (banks, hosting, verification services) divides the world into two distinct categories: "General Audience" and "Adult."

They do not care if an image is beautifully lit or emotionally profound. If it contains specific visual triggers, such as sexual acts or specific poses, it is classified as "Adult."

Model Society is dedicated to celebrating human beauty as a work of art. While most of the artwork on our platform is photography, we also welcome drawing, painting, and other traditional figurative art forms that align with our fine art vision.

Please note that our scope for non-photographic media is quite limited. Not all applications are approved. The application process requires serious consideration, and we encourage you to carefully curate a selection of your most refined, fully realized work.

Model Society is dedicated to high-quality figurative fine art ONLY. We are a sanctuary for models, photographers, and artists whose work places our shared humanity on a pedestal. We are not an image host, a social media feed, or a general-purpose modeling platform.

Moderators will remove any images that do not support this mission.

1. Curation & Visibility (Portfolio vs. Feed)

Model Society distinguishes between your Personal Portfolio and the Main Feed.

• The Main Feed: This is a curated showcase of the community's best work. It is not a chronological stream of every upload. Not all accepted images will appear in the Main Feed. Editors reserve the right to limit the visibility of images based on quality, lighting, and brand alignment, even if the image does not strictly violate a policy.
• Your Portfolio: We grant greater latitude for images in your personal portfolio to document your artistic growth.

How to Access Your Model Society Magazine Subscription

Step 1: Log In 

Go to https://modelsociety.academy

⚠️ Important: Make sure you're at modelsociety.academy — not modelsociety.com. That's a different site (our community platform) and your magazine subscription won't be there.

Log in with your email and password.

Step 2: Go to Your Library

Once you're logged in, look at the menu bar at the top of the page and click the "My Library" tab.

Step 3: Open Your Subscription

In your library, find "Model Society Magazine Subscription" and click the red "Open" button next to it.

Step 4: Select an Issue

You'll see a list of available magazine issues. Click on the issue you'd like to read.

Step 5: Open the Download Section

On the issue page, look for the "Download Your Digital Edition" section and click on it to open it.

Step 6: Download the Issue

Scroll down and click any of the red links to download the PDF to your device.

I wanted to give women an opportunity to express traits that are typically associated with men.

I wanted to show women’s beauty juxtaposed with masculine projections of strength.

Notions of beauty are usually associated with women who are expressing entirely feminine traits, but women don’t have to have the pretty hair and makeup and dresses to be beautiful. We can be masculine or androgynous and still be beautiful. Beautiful women go to war, and work construction. They are police officers and CEOs. They are cage fighters, boxers and they play football.

I’m telling the women’s story because that’s what I relate to. I’m a woman exploring a woman’s point of view, but the essence of this book is for everyone. It’s for men too. Machisma is simply saying no to gender norms, it is saying “screw you” to what society says that both men and women should be.
